What a great start to the year we have had in Áine’s class! The children were lucky enough to have Gráinne as their teacher in September and they did all sorts of fun things around the theme of Myself and The Five Senses.
Our October focus has been autumn and we have had lots of fun finding out about the various signs of autumn. We have enjoyed scavenger hunts, crafts and songs all based around our theme.
We have been very active this month and our P.E focus is cooperative games which we have loved!
We have also visited the music shed and enjoyed using our creativity to make music using an array of instruments!
Finally we had a class trip to the zoo. We travelled on a great big bus and had a lovely walk around the zoo. We had lots of favourite animals but the sea lion in the picture really loved posing with us!
