We have been having great fun and learning lots since we returned to school in January.
Our main theme has been Food and The Restaurant and our class have been roleplaying at the restaurant, drawing our favourite foods, designing menus and making playdoh food.
This theme was seen across lots of our subject areas - including science where we made rice crispy buns to explore materials and change, Literacy where we sequenced recipes and SPHE where we learned what we need to survive and examined the food pyramid. I think it is safe to say that Senior Infants are now experts on this topic!
We have spent some quality time with our buddies too, during PE and Art lessons, thanks 3rd Class!
In other news we have started football on Wednesdays with our wonderful coaches from TY doing their FAI training, we have had so much fun and we can't wait to develop our football skills even further!
