1. Student Council A huge congratulations to Ilara and Saheed, our newly elected Student Council representatives! Thank you to Henry and Martha for being fantastic council members since 1st Class.
2. Art Our January art theme was 'Construction.' We had a blast sculpting flexible figures using tin foil and working in teams to build unique sculptures from recycled rolls. It was amazing to see such teamwork and imagination in action!
3. Gymnastics in PE Gymnastics was on the agenda in PE this month! We explored different ways to travel, jump, and roll. We combined these skills to perform gymnastic sequences.
4. Library Thursdays We now visit the school library every Thursday. It has quickly become a weekly highlight as students dive into the wide variety of stories and facts waiting for them on the shelves.
5. Pyjama and Teddy Day Hard work pays off! The class earned an impressive 250 group points on Class Dojo. To celebrate, we enjoyed a cosy 'Pyjamas and Teddy Day', the perfect way to stay warm and celebrate our success!
6. Gaeilge with Our Buddies! Thank you to our 5th class buddies who came to our class to read some Irish books with us. Maith sibh!!
