November News!
November News!
November was a very busy month! Here are some of the activities we got up to:
-
Maths – Right Angles
In maths we learned all about right angles. We went on a right-angle hunt around our classroom and found lots of examples. Then we used lollipop sticks to make shapes that included right angles. -
Art – Printing
In art we explored printing. We etched patterns and pictures onto styrofoam and then used them to make colourful prints with ink. -
STEM Week – Building & Creating
STEM week was a blast! We loved creating and building with the STEM trolley toys. One group even worked as a team to try to build a tower that would reach the ceiling! -
STEM Workshop in the Hall
We also took part in a STEM workshop in the hall. Building bridges, designing fishing rods and making jewellery were just some of the fantastic activities we enjoyed. -
Visiting 5th Class Science Projects
Our 5th class buddies kindly invited us upstairs to see their science projects. We were really impressed by their creativity and hard work! -
Maths Trail
To finish off STEM week, we completed a maths trail designed by our 5th class buddies. It was great fun and a brilliant way to use our maths skills in the real world!
